The BEST harissa paste is Tunisian Harissa paste! Make your own paste with this 'Instant' Harissa Paste kit, in small batches or simply use the powder as a rub. This Tunisian Harissa was John-Marc's mothers recipe that she learned from her mother in Tunis. It is a mild to Medium heat level, full of flavor, and makes 5 batches of harissa paste by just adding water, and a little olive oil for body. Depending on your preferences or recipe, you can add cayenne to give it more heat, or mint if your particular recipe calls for a minty harissa. It is very flavorful and a little goes a long way. Keeps 4-6 weeks in fridge after making.
