Black Garlic (spring/summer) Cultured butter with the addition of fermented black garlic, garlic, green onion, Maine sea salt, and black Hawaiian sea salt. Beautiful garlic flavor, and much more nuanced due to the addition of organic black garlic which has been fermented prior to use.
This traditional style butter is cultured for a minimum of 48 hours. The effect of the long fermentation makes this butter tangy & flavorful
Our cultured butter is a living food with natural ingredients only, made from organic cream sourced from pastured cows. The result is a natural product that changes with the seasons as the cows graze. Look for the butter to take on a characteristic bright yellow color as spring arrives as a result of the cows moving primarily onto fresh new season pasture!
Our salted butter has a shelf life of six weeks under typical conditions, and can be moved into the freezer before this time at any point and will last for 4-6 months.
Unsalted butter has a slightly shorter shelf life, and can still be frozen for up to 3 months and reserved for later use.
