The Campanelle is their most popular shape. it is both fragile & sturdy. The shape is a twisted cone with a ruffled edge resembling trumpets or bells.
For cooking, boil in salted water for 1-3 minutes, rinse optional, & enjoy!
Little Bird Pasta is a side project for cousins, Ben & Hannah Rossman. Since growing a successful bread business, they have been on the hunt to introduce more locally grown whole grains into the diets of our population. They have always loved making pasta for themselves, and now they are sharing it with the rest of our region. Their passion for locally sourced and quality ingredients drives the high standard they hold for their small batch pasta.
All of their pastas are made with freshly milled Colorado grown wheat flower and water. Their proprietary blend of gently sifted wheat flowers gives their pasta a deep, nutty flavor that is truly special. All of the pastas are extruded in small batches through bronze die, giving each pasta a distinct texture & chew. Their pasta is fresh, not dried & we have frozen it to preserve it for you.
All pastas are made with the same blend of organically grown Colorado Wheat that is freshly stone milled at their bakery in Norwood.
